Murphy & Toby Found a Great Groomer!
Look no further! Krystal is an absolute charm. We took our two pups, Murphy & Toby, in to get groomed as they were both atrocious from a week spent at out river place. Unbeknownst to us, our mini Aussie, Murphy, was matted horribly throughout his undercoat. Krystal took time to chat with us about options other than a complete shave and took time to get most of the matted fur out. He looks amazing! Our elder corgi looks and smells just as wonderful. The shop is clean and well maintained and there were no other pups in cages waiting to be seen. The atmosphere was as calm as Krystal's demeaner. We feel blessed to have found her!

Kristi June 2024 Senior Cattle DogKrystal was amazing with our senior cattle dog. Very attentive to him. I love that she only accommodates one pup at a time. It was definitely a stress free experience for us and our old pup. She even gave us reccomdations for diet changes to help avoid some yeast problems with his ears. Definitely will be taking him back.

We had financial issues for a bit so Rosie was a mess but she came out looking and feeling like a queen. Little Angel Grooming should definitely be your doggies groomer. Kathe June 2024 Moose & JoeyWe’re new to the area and I’ve been so nervous about finding a new groomer because one of our dogs has neurological issues and the other has a history of behavioral issues. Krystal was very understanding and worked on building trust before starting their services. I can honestly say I have never seen my dogs in such good moods while getting their nails trimmed and anal glands done. My dog with behavioral issues was wagging his tail and giving kisses the whole time! I think it’s safe to say they loved Krystal (so did I) and will be more than happy to go back for full grooms next time.

Exceptional Above and BeyondAfter grooming sessions with Krystal, my labradoodle Niki is absolutely beautiful. My family and I marvel at the attention to detail. Our dog always smells amazing, her paws are soft and smooth, and the list goes on. An example of Krystal’s careful work is the lovely shaping around our dog’s eyes and leaving her pretty eyelashes intact. I imagine this is the result of Krystal’s meticulous work on her face through scissor work to shape her face. My husband indicated Krystal’s exceptional grooming is the high level of service we imagine celebrities are able to obtain for their pets. I will conclude with a quote from my husband, “If everyone in the world applied themselves in their work with the same high level of attention and pride as Krystal, the world would be a happier place."

I have a Bernese Mountain Dog - 8 Months old and I just adopted her so not sure of her grooming experiences. I also have a 3 year Rottweiler whom has never been to a groomer. Krystal got us an appt right away. Both of my babies had a great experience - no muzzle - no cages & she takes 1 family at a time. Not to mention the grooming was spot on! GREAT DOG GROOMER RECOMMENDATION Hi all. I want to send out a recommendation for a dog groomer in the Diamond Springs/Placerville area. I moved here Nov 2020 and let's just say finding a groomer for my Pomeranians was a challenge. After a horrible experience, I finally found a great groomer who is Knowledgeable, caring and my babies look great. Here are before and after pics of each dog. They were in desperate need of puppy cuts. I'm so happy and they are too. Krystal Spelker of Little Angel Grooming was awesome. Highly recommended. Grace 2/2022 "Sophie"
OK first off I've never given anyone a review in my life other than Telling someone to their face that they suck. I'm 73 so this, in itself, is significant. To begin with I was skeptical since she works out of her house and the first impression (driveway) did not sit well with me but that all evaporated when I met her, her darn charm is infectious. She's so warm and cuddly I wanted to get groomed. My Sophie took to her like I did to my wife when I met her 52 years ago, so did I. But frankly the two things that really got my attention was, number one she found a problem with Sophie's private area (accumulation of stuff) that had to be building for weeks that the previous groomers ( including Pampered Puppy) never apparently noticed or mentioned, (I was getting her groomed every two weeks) yet Sophie for quite sometime had been sensitive to petting on her hind quarter area. ( NO!!!!!!,I DO NOT CHECK THAT AREA OUT) The other thing which really blew both my wife and I away is after her bath it looked like Sophie's coat had been trimmed. Well the second time we had Krystal groom Sophie we noticed this same thing, sooooooI had to ask, did you trim Sophie's coat? No she said, Sophie's coat is so clean that it lays so different we think her hair has been cut. Never in the numerous grooming sessions has this ever happened. Very much a dog whisperer. My senior almost 13 year old dog has struggled with fear of her nails being trimmed, but NOT with Little Angel Grooming. 5 STAR HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Yesterday, we took one of our dogs to Krystal at Little Angel Grooming.... what a fantastic experience for my HIGH anxiety pup! His nails were terribly long as he just hasn't tolerated it in the past, but Krystal and her mom were amazing with our baby!! Highly recommend them!! They are right over very close to the Bistro.
